About Dr. Robles...
Dr. Robles is fluent in Spanish and familiar with various Hispanic cultures and traditions. He earned his MA in Human Behavior at National University and a Doctor of Psychology at California Southern University. His work experience extends over 20 years in various community settings serving the IDD population and their families. As a Program Director, using Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy as the base, Dr. Robles worked in a day program to design and implement preventative treatments for adults with IDD. As a Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Robles worked in an ABA program, where he developed behavior management treatments for children and adolescents with ASD, ID, and ADHD. As a Clinical Team Lead, Dr. Robles worked in a Crisis Management Program using Positive Psychology principles to assist at-risk adults and adolescents with IDD and co-occurrent mental health problems. The program’s treatment was designed to reduce the risk for individuals with complex trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety problems. Dr. Robles was also an Adjunct Faculty Member of the University of Phoenix for three years, where he taught psychology classes to undergraduates. In his free time, Dr. Robles enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys meditating, playing instruments, painting, watching movies, reading, and playing with his dogs.
